First i hoped that what we see in the background was one big @ss sub !Devon Turnbull diverts from his usual grey hammertone paint to laser scored wood veneer in HiFi Pursuit Listening Room Dream No. 3 at the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Museum in Manhattan, NY. His gear base is the famous Swiss modular furniture system USM Haller with, it looks like, a 3cm granite top. For all the people with surplus funds, these are going to be a lot more collectable than what is found at high end audio fairs.

You get like 100db at 23hz with 15w, ported a few more db, doesn't take much more than that before xmax limits. But yeah it gets beaten out pretty hard by some budget subs out there.

Aesthetically, what is better, speakers are generally ugly things, but these in your ‘colour of your choosing of course’ are slender and sleek.
And they are tapered, better than straight.

The asymmetry of the bottom part and especially the port being taller than the control panel cutout makes it an aesthetic mess to my eyes.
What I really like though, by principle: the absolutely biggest woofer the baffle physically allows. Kinda badarse.

I can(t say I found it beautiful in real.
Happily, the cats ears bring some fun to the desig, whcich is cool for a professionnal speaker.
But as for sound, OMG, how good these big Genelec babies are ! One of my best listening session ever done
Alas, much too large and expensive for my small apprtment and earnings,
