Most beautiful speakers in the world ?

My ears hurt just from thinking about the vertical lobing that those spaced tweeters are gonna produce ...

My guess is that it's a "shaded array", with only one of the tweeters going all the way up, then another one going not as far up, and then the last two (probably the top and bottom tweeters) in play only in the lower part of the tweeter's range, all gently blended in. This would allow a crossover perhaps as much as an octave lower than would have been feasible with just one tweeter, and with less total change in directivity in the vertical dimension, but the same wide pattern in the horizontal dimension.

But have you heard them yourself??!!!
If not, you can’t have an opinion!
:p :p;)

Would love to have the type of place where this suits. Light up the fireplace. Good scotch in one hand, Dame in the other, sit back and relax
:)

I'm pretty sure that I would need more than one shot of scotch to enjoy the sound that comes out of that ...

I would do something similar, cut the wood of that piece of furniture into smaller pieces, light up the fireplace. Good scotch in one hand, Dame in the other, sit back and relax. ;)

Just kidding of course. It's not my piece of cake but I appreciate everyone else's enjoyment.

AEquo makes some pretty stylin speakers:

I found some good shots of a previously mentioned candidate (by DanielT,) one that I remain smitten by since their introduction, the Snell Aii

I have been on the hunt for a clean pair of Aiii's for a while now. But also, part of my interest in the Sonus Faber Stradivari speakers (rev 1 and 2) is that they look a lot like what a Snell A would look like if you left the grill off, albeit with a bit less curvature to the front baffle. If I get around to DIY'ing a pair, I would bring the curve closer to Snell's approach.

I heard multiple canton reference speakers from their current line up and I must say, at the sweet spot they sound good. However when I lean bit back and forth the highs change in tone a lot. Towards sides they sound fine. However to have the good sound, I must sit stiff in one spot. Tried reference 3, 5 and 9 - same results. Bass on the 3s go low but then suddenly there I literally no bass beyond a point - like they have a steep roll off.

Elfton Vegas 2. Nothing revolutionary design-wise, but if I had an extra room (and money) for a man cave, I would make it a classic study/library with glossy dark walnut wood furniture, big bookcases, Chesterfield sofas, and thick wall to wall carpeting. The HiFi equipment would consist of these speakers, some thoroughly serviced vintage Luxman,/Marantz/Pioneer amplifier, a Thorens TD 1500, and hidden from sight, a streamer, dac and some kind DSP-solution.

I don't know why but I always get a warm, fuzzy feeling when I see speakers like these. I suppose it could stem from seeing similar models a fair bit when I was a kid in the 70s, though I never saw any that were quite so glossy! They radiate a lovely vibe. Thanks for sharing. :)

I really hope this is an imaginary product of AI and no one wasted those excellent TAD drivers on a Captain Crunch look alike speaker.
This is real, but as art/design object, not as "hifi". These "Grateful Vanity" speakers are made in very limited ammount in 2012 by the designers Olivier Kuntzel and Florence Olivie.

Can't argue with art... but one can avert one's gaze.
