Most beautiful speakers in the world ?

What model is this? I can’t find it on the website.

Saw the first minute of a video of theirs on this. The owner of OWA thinks that PA speakers are getting worse and worse (which fits in whith his general disdain for anything modern in speakers, e.g. any driver produced this century) and, apparently, that there is a market for difficult to handle PA systems which cost multiples of current pro gear. Maybe that is what happens when you most of your sales are to the billionaire class (which he talks about in another video)?

It's this one

I believe we should move away from the idea that a speaker is beautiful simply because it’s made with fancy wood and covered in an elegant veneer.

These speakers are hideous, and if we could all agree on that, the world would be a better place. I firmly believe this.

Slapping two woofers onto what looks like a 19th century torture device should not qualify as beautiful. It hangs from the ceiling too. eeeew.

I don't design them
I just post them ;)

I believe you are 100% wrong. Plain and simple. Taking the time and making an effort to look different than post 7264 is exactly the reason why.

There is nothing more intriguing to a craftsman than quality workmanship, even if it's a toilet fixture. BUT then, from the eyes of a person who couldn't glue two popsicles stick together, who really cares about their opinion!

Everyone is a critic, LOL

I agree that beautiful wood/veneer does not necessarily make a speaker beautiful, though I must admit I have a soft spot for beautiful wood.

Agreed they are hideous. Most of the products from this company are simply loud in your face designs with a lack of form or grace.

LOL... do you write ad copy for a living?

Is the bass section a dipole? If not, that's a tiny enclosure for FOUR 18" woofers. It looks to me like they're doing some creative outside-the-box-thinking, though I can't figure out exactly what it is.
Yeah, I had same thought. Looks to me like they are open… dipole, bipole, hard to say. The description is definitely very light on details. It’s either a decently thought out concept, maybe something quite novel, or a train wreck… I can’t quite tell

The max SPL is listed as 115 dB... loud, but well below what I would expect four 18" woofers to be capable of, UNLESS they are dipole-optimized woofers in a dipole enclosure and equalized to reach 17Hz. The description sounds like it's a passive system, though maybe I missed something. If so, that's some interesting passive equalization to extend down to 17 Hz in such a compact dipole (IF that is even what's going on).

Agreed on all counts!

I think you interpreted the interpretation just wrong. It was not a generalized meaning.
