Most beautiful speakers in the world ?

I still find the Boenicke Audio speakers intriguing both in looks and design.

A pair of main active monitors would probably sound batter than that mega system with a million components
I have the Evolution Acoustics MicroOne. I found this thread by seeing what information is on this site about Evolution Acoustics.

Since you didn't specify any model of active monitors, it's hard to say you're categorically wrong. But that statement doesn't exactly demonstrate a depth of experience or knowledge on the subject, nor does it convey any discernible interest in increasing your knowledge or experience. No one knows everything, that's fine. I'm sure you know more than me on many subjects. I always leave the door open to learning something new, because that's the only way to be 'less wrong' (which is my goal). I would recommend trying it.

I have the MicroOnes and having spent some time with them, I'm not sure there is any better speaker, period, at their price point. I got mine for just over $1800 on a distributor closeout and they're an insane bargain at that price. I couldn't find any graphs (I know, I know, I tried) but if anyone lives in Colorado and wants to come measure them send me a DM (no creeps, weirdos OK). We can listen to them too, if you want. And I'm not being in the slightest facetious when I say I'd love to hear about all the other speakers that are comparable or perhaps even better.

EDIT: I currently own Dali Rubicon 6, Focal Electra 936, and have owned some other decent mid-tier speakers such as those. My other equipment is of sufficiently quality to not negatively impact the performance of the speakers.

Honestly I don't know how you reached those conclusions based on one short comment

I must be an oligarch in training!
:)

I think they look quite fetching.
Admittedly, I also would find them too large and dominating, but in terms of the lines, finishes, and combination of materials I find them quite appealing.

Then again, I like this as well:

Once my finances are in order, I would come in from playing with my pet Siberian tigers to spin a record on this turntable playing music through those speakers :)
Round section belt

I need this explained to me.
A round section belt is poor engineering practice since stick-slip at the grooved pulley is inevitable.
It is measureably worse, but frequently used because it is much cheaper and easier to make (and may well be "good enough").
No surprise in a cheap TT always a disappointment in a pricy one.
