Those TangBand coaxials are unfortunately not on the level or Genelec,KEF/TAD ones, probably the reason their datasheets don't show any angular responses.Very promising coaxial design. Would love to hear one of these.

If I wanted a good and affordable compact two-way 8" coaxial I would go for the Mofi Sourcepoint 8 engineered by Andrew Jones:
That's not entirely true - the Thor sub was suggested for augmenting dipole bass at very low frequencies. The Pluto+ is still there too, although arguably superseded by LXsub2 dipoles. The bass section of the Pluto and LXmini is sealed and wouldn't behave much differently if it was a long box instead of a pipe - I think some like that used to feature in the page of Linkwitz-inspired builds. The only "box" Linkwitz promoted was an open box.
It's more likely to be an offense to the eyes than to the ears. What a mess to keep clean with wires routed and noise-free. I bet it's a horrible hiss factory. Look at the mess just in that picture. That would drive me nuts. NO THANKS.
If that something is 10000€/pair, they know for sure that the buyer won't open it up to check...I'm surprised that the woofer they show on the website is apparently not the same woofer you see in the sectional photo.

To me look like the same woofer: diaphragm material, shape of screw holes, ribs on the magnet. Probably the magnet itself inside the speaker covered with some kind of acoustic foam, but otherwise they are very similar (and may just be differently drawn by the designer).is apparently not the same woofer

If he was foolish enough to squander some hard-earned money instead of purchasing jewellery for his better half...I wouldn't be too sure about that
Very classy appearance.I don’t know how they sound, but I think the look of these open baffle speakers with a full range driver is beautiful:

Li song Fast 15 is 350US$/pair at Aliexpress, the rest is up to you.
You can even use some real nice wood, and you'd still have a pair of speakers at ~500US$ or less.
