For that price range one could purchase a beautiful vintage Ferrari. And a fine HiFi as well.

At least for me, I do not like, do not need, all the gigantic passive LCR XO network boards which convert almost all of the signal energy into waste of heat; I like connecting each of the SP drivers directly and dedicatedly to each of the amplifiers of multichannel multi-amplifier setup as I do in my fully active PC-DSP-based audio rig (ref. here).
