Most beautiful speakers in the world ?

image_2020-11-01_213512.png

Many of those "beautiful" speakers are just that: a pretty face. Performance is all over the place. Still, if one is into beautiful things and can afford those .. Why not? but don't expect great performance from these things.. The Living Voice Pallandia is a case in point .. Cost serious money ,,, enough to purchase a pair of :
Genelec 8361 with a pair of their subs.............................................................$40,000
Revel Salon 2 with the Mark Levison Amplifiers + Preamps _ CD ........ $125,000
A pair of Dutch and Dutch 8 C with their Stands............................................$15,000
A pair of Kii 3 + BXT ................................................................................................$ 40,000
A pair of Beolab 90 ...................................................................................................$90,000

For a total of $310,000 ...

The model shown up there without its subwoofer is $325,000 .... Same price for the Wilson abomination.

Do you really believe, these are superior to any of the speakers above ? If yes, PM me for a New York City bridge I am selling for about the same price? A sound investment, with "bridge" financing.

I'm generally most attracted to a speaker that has a classy, reserved, contemporary design combined with a nice wood finish. I actually find the Thiel 2.7s I own to be a great example of this aesthetic:

Same goes for the Joseph Audio Perspectives (again that I own):

The very expensive Tidal speakers look real nice, I think:

And I really jones for the funky retro look of the Devore Fidelity Orangutan 96 speakers, with this wood finish:

Nice speakers. Always felt they deserved much more praise on ASR than they got, given how well they perform objectively.
I really like them! I think they do really well for their cost.
I’ve had them for 3 years. I built new cabinets during quarantine this year just because I wanted a change, and of course to kill time!
This was before. Kind of miss this look too!

Holy snazzballs! That's just.... I don't even have words. I could get a really nice house for that.

If I was in a room with those I wouldn't be able to resist grabbing that brass horn and shouting "Hello! Operator!?!" in my best old-timey voice :p

I'm going to go with the Davone Solos. I liked the look so much I bought them. Even better my wife likes the look (kind of).

And even betterer, they sound great. Think Revel F208 in prettier clothes.
