Most beautiful speakers in the world ?

The Linaeum, Duopole, etc, are a ribbon style driver. The axis of direction is self waveguided via the diaphragm curls that also form the suspension. If there is a rear set of curls, there is equal response to both front and rear. The magnets sit inside the curls, and the central junction moves fore and aft. You can look at it like a ring radiator that has been cut from circular form and left single file instead of rotating around the origin.

The longer, or wider, the less high extension they will have.

Shiny and blingy …

Where most of the speaker enclosures made for the renowned European speaker/audio companies. They've been doing that since 1977. Diora makes their own too.

I can't find any. That thing costs €70,000 a pair, so perhaps no one's interested in finding out. Those who buy them might not care about acoustic measurements.

Perun 5 use B&C ME464 horns covered with leather, which looks quite strange IMO, and I don't know how it affects performance. Most likely they are using one of the B&C coaxial drivers that allow keep the directivity constant pretty low. The sound at the show was ok, it's hard to tell more, they had a not-so-good installation.

@Lekha : I enjoy your posts about eastern european manufacturers. Would have never known about most of them without your posts.

BTW I view this as the "show interesting speakers" thread.

So far I like both, but not having owned anything by the firm it's hard to say if it's an upgrade...

Interesting factor is that all of his creations have totally undamped cabinets. They're only braced at strategic points. The Russel K. 120SE, for example,

He appears to be the only one who openly speaks about this, but most well-known speaker makers, especially from Asia, use undamped cabinets, or very little acoustic damping if they use any at all.

But this thread is not about showcasing the products of Eastern European audio manufacturers. If there is something particularly interesting about them (so far I am not convinced) surely they deserve their own thread? Why does Lekha keep polluting this thread with endless stream of plain looking semi-diy rectangular boxes?
