I genuinely can't spot sarcasm in this thread anymore.Sarcasm...
Maybe they've been posted before, but I quite like the look of the Q Acoustics M40:

Actually, with my skillset, I would rather supply my own DSP and tune them myself. While I have a lot of respect for Roy Delgado and all the great work he has done, from having listened to quite a few speakers he has worked on, I think we hear differently. I would likely want to adjust the mids and highs down a bit from the default settings.Do you mean the active crossover? View attachment 439079
I think this the one for me. Perfection
Just keep the grilles on, I used to do that when I had the B&W 601 with the bright yellow Kevlar drivers. It is very nice. Great wood finish.
Only ruined for me by the woofer. I hate staring at blaring white (or brightly coloured) drivers. Very distracting.

Well, as a speaker it's a bit hit and miss but for the common folks it's more acceptable in its looks.
That's exaggeration. White cone is pretty common with high-end speakers and looks very cool (depends on the execution)
I like them optically too, but those newer B&W midrange driver "continuum" membranes are silver though:That's exaggeration. White cone is pretty common with high-end speakers and looks very cool (depends on the execution)

Ah. It would be prettier if its pure white. More contrast. These grey drivers look cheap.I like them optically too, but those newer B&W midrange driver "continuum" membranes are silver though:

Nope, I meant and posted the single mid driver which is silver, the 3 drivers you call grey and cheap looking are the woofers. And you got it wrong, these grey drivers are the ones used in the 3 mid drivers and the white one is the tweeter if you refer to my photo.
Nah, white one is the tweeter the grey ones are mid drivers. The very small one on the top most like is another tweeterNope, I meant and posted the single mid driver which is silver, the 3 drivers you call grey and cheap looking are the woofers.
No,Nah, white one is the tweeter the grey ones are mid drivers.
Have you ever peeked inside in any loudspeaker???Here's person looking inside a B&W 804. It's odd that the electronics are placed directly behind the drivers.
There appears to be a large projection screen rolled up on the ceiling. That may explain it, although you can buy perforated screens to allow sound through instead of placing a center on the floor.View attachment 438663
Too small TV and no carpets. AI picture perhaps, the center speaker is also placed very weirdly
