That Gershman looks to me like a stack of the prefab boxes Parts Express used to sell - note the 4 screws holding the baffle in place - with a metal bib on the woofer boxes.

Perfectly fine cabinets, and nicely finished especially for the price. Wish they stlll offered them. Soundfield Audio, Von Schweikert, and Philharmonic Audio all used them when they were distributed by PE. Shudder to think what these cost in comparison.

Having seen those Gershman‘s at a show, they look just as bad or worse in person. They looked like shoved together prototypes. Probably the ugliest speaker I’ve ever seen in person. They also didn’t sound very good.

We had a pair of their ‘RA’ years ago, even back then they were expensive for what they offered in terms of performance, in their defence they weren’t too coloured .

Admittedly, it has been some years since I last time heard T&F speakers, but I still have in my mind the thought, that they are synonym to wonky frequency response. Nice looking boxes though...
