Lately I have a lot of "deja vu"moments in this thread because I have the feeling that most loudspeakers pics that are posted lately have been posted before in this thread (I'm not going to search all 198 pages to proof I'm right)

Repetition could more easily be avoided if everyone wrote the brand and model name (if known) of the speakers in the pictures they post.
Then one can easily first search the thread to see if something is already in it before creating a new post.

It also helps those late to the thread who start from the beginning and find pictures that are no longer available.

Not sure if you are kidding or not.

There are lots of expensive things I can't afford or I can't justify, though I would still love to own, but I do not think Wilson has ever made a speaker I lusted after.

I don't think it's just that, I've seen better put together jock straps or loincloths! They just cannot be ever considered in a line-up of the world's most beautiful speakers list. That post must be removed, surely

Then you might be on to something really important. I guess the AI figured out the right source. Pls keep up the good job of posting as you do. I am a sure others are most appreciative of your efforts.

Last thing we want is to train the AI on basis of bias we all have in determining the “beauty”, a term that is elusive and means so many things to so many people. So the sample needs to be broad by definition. Hopefully AI will be able to figure out in time what beauty means.

For £9,999, I'd expect a lot better. Lots of gushing reviews around. Are most hi-fi reviewers hearing impaired?

Reviews have to be gushing otherwise the supply of equipment to review soon disappears.

I don't thinks so. But they seem to gladly accept a non-flat frequency response as a sign of unsurpassed engineering, completely ignoring the fact that any Tom, Dick and Harry can replicate the effect using a PEQ in seconds.

I looked at better than half the photos. There's a LOT of truly beautiful speakers out there, and not less than a couple dogs. My choice of speaker that lives in my music room isn't one of undisputed beauty, nor is it outright fugly. Probably just as many liking it as hating it, though I think the room you place ANY speaker in makes a difference in how it looks, overall. My choice: KEF Blade 2 Meta.

The bit about the musicians above the listener is just a bit wierd. What about chamber music? Or jazz?
