Most beautiful speakers in the world ?

I like a nice wood finish on a speaker, but I have three no-go finishes:

1. Black Ash. As I always say “ friends don’t let friends buy anything in Black Ash.”

2. Oak - yuck. Always reminded of 70s basement wood paneling.

3. Cherry wood, natural cherry. All I remember is how wildly popular natural cherry was in the 90s. I liked it back then.
But now it’s about as appealing as the Shabby Chic trend of the 90s. (and unfortunately in the late 90s I believe we chose cherry for our kitchen cabinets, and my heart sort of sinks every time I look at the cabinets)

Ironically, I don't like those silver speakers at all. Reminds me of Vivid Audio, and not in a great way. At least they're plugged in in the first picture.

The sleeker, non symmetric lines of the previous speakers come across to me as both refined and interesting at the same time.

Although I worked through this whole thread once, I don't remember if there were any Wisdom Audio speakers in it.
These 2 are in-wall speakers. Can in-walls be beautiful? Well, I like the look of them.

I do get the vertical ones and the technical approach. I don't get the horizontal center one that you shared and by now I found it on the website:

I do share your concern regarding comb filtering. Maybe it is indeed not such a great speaker, it wouldn't be the first time that a company that makes some great speakers also has some compromised models aimed at buyers that want something different that fits better in their room. I mainly added it because I liked the fact that you can choose the length of the soundbar.
Having said that I got the impression that maybe you think that this is one center speaker only. It is not, it is a soundbar containing the front left, center, and front right speaker. Furthermore I can imagine if someone doesn't notice that there is not one wide magnetostatic driver in the middle of each channel section, but three square ones next to each other, and I assume that the crossover will make only the middle one do the top end of the audio spectrum, while the outer two (or even with support of the middle one) will do the lower part of the highs (or even some of the higher mids). They do claim somewhere on the website that these particular magnetostatic drivers that they use in their point source models have exceptional high output, so maybe they can also go a bit lower at a bit lower output(?). Or maybe it is (only) suitable for a specific application: larger listening distance and narrow listening area(?). It is a pitty they don't mention crossover frequencies of this model.

The big LCR sound bar you mentioned uses external Amplification and DSP. This is the one recommended.

I was really confused that a company would put 3 center speakers in a row. I could not find the image first and I thought you must have rotated the image by 90⁰

I might have seen too many users that thought: 2 speakers next to each other must for sure be an improvement.

Ha ha, actually I sometimes do that kind of thing, like in the following B&W LCR set, I find this one of the most hip and beautiful centers that can function as a TV table as well.
(Actually B&W had a very first version - or it may have been a pre-production model, I saw pictures in some hifi magazine at the time - of the Matrix 800 with the tweeter in the middle between the 2 yellow kevlar mid units. They soon changed it for better dispersion but for this center version the tweeter in the middle would have looked better. By the way: AFAIK also in this B&W the 2 kevlar units don't work the same frequency band, only one does the upper mids, and together they do the lower mids. That certainly would be important when using it horizontally, even if non-symmetrical still better dispersion wise.)

What actually defines a beautiful speaker? Many of the examples on this thread remind me of brutalist architecture. No one ever describes those buildings as beautiful. Powerful, intimidating, etc, perhaps, but beautiful, no. I know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder but we are not talking about someone’s wife, instead product design. Pearljam5000 seems to have found the source of fugly speakers!
