I like a nice wood finish on a speaker, but I have three no-go finishes:
1. Black Ash. As I always say “ friends don’t let friends buy anything in Black Ash.”
2. Oak - yuck. Always reminded of 70s basement wood paneling.
3. Cherry wood, natural cherry. All I remember is how wildly popular natural cherry was in the 90s. I liked it back then.
But now it’s about as appealing as the Shabby Chic trend of the 90s. (and unfortunately in the late 90s I believe we chose cherry for our kitchen cabinets, and my heart sort of sinks every time I look at the cabinets)
