Most beautiful speakers in the world ?

Cable lifters stop your nice cables getting scuffed when rubbing across the floor, keep dust bunnies at bay and make vacuuming easier. What's not to like?

The (marble?) cable lifters scratching the nice wood floor maybe?

Little train carriages would be fun though. But I'm thinking more cable car.

Or a zip line for (electron enhancing) critters!;)

Another vinylphile with a very expensive rig and what looks like 25 or 30 LP's. LOL
I was commenting on the horizontal storage. I don’t know if it’s harmful, but up it definitely slows down access.

Back in the day I was always told that horizontal storage was not a good thing for resisting warpage.
That LP's should be stored vertically with just a snug amount of side pressure.
I can't really say for sure if there's any truth to it ???

Looks to me as the center shelf is adjustable and might even accommodate a second level of vertical LPs, or
at least some vertical CD-BD storage?
Of course you have to own more than 3 LPs for that. :p

What’s ‘best’ about it?

Exaggerating again only 214k , I remember someone took apart an earlier Acapella and it was using a very modest Dynaudio? driver.

20k "high end" record player with 30 records << scruffy old DJ turntables with Shure M44-7 and "club sound" (=muffled) champagne anodised Vestax mixer and 1000 Techno, electro and Drum'n'Bass records.

I guarantee the latter is providing way more fun, despite sounding vastly inferior by technical standards.

In the old days the richest person in the village used to burn a part of their crops. I guess the intention was to show economic power and mildly contribute to overall supply demand equation.

Nowadays, we just burn the currency I guess, without necessarily any positive social effect.

You have to listen to these speakers. It is an example that a certain level can only be achieved with very expensive big speakers and a lot of effort.

It provides 4 x 15" bass drivers which form a cylinder wave in the low frequencies which interact better with almost all room acoustics and provide very clean loud bass. The mids are very neutral sounding they don't use compression drivers on the horn. The high frequencies is a plasma tweeter. At the last high end it was claimed to have the best sound there.

They modify almost everything they use and or have thier own specification for the manufacturer. The older models aren't that good compared to the newer ones.

I have heard them they are at the Munich ‘De-Luxe’ show every year, ‘cylinder’ wave?
That interacts better with the room…
Best sound in show… any measurements ?

Yes like a line array the speaker is about 2.4m high so from the floor to the ceiling in a standard room. You have less floor and ceiling reflections and a better behavior compared to a point source like a standard speaker.

As far as I know there aren't any published measurements.

... not sure, if they even sound that good. To me it sounds a bit obtrusive.

But for 241.000 € you have to make compromises.
Oh my judgement from a video which is recorded about 1m away from a speaker which needs about 3m to 5m listening distance since it is very big...

To be fair, I'll add one of my own favorites. The Rockport Avior. But I have to wonder: is my perception of its appearance influenced by its price, or reputation?
I've never heard them, and the six-figure speakers I have heard weren't proportionally impressive.
