Compared to Pinocchio they are the Sistine chapel ceiling or rear wall.

And the matched grain on each segment. CNC can get you repeatable shapes and cut your templates, but I've not heard of anyone automating grain matching.Look at the fine inlay, the sunburst pattern on the sides (with no visible gaps and no filler!)
I'll be very interested to see if this new 1528 line can match the very good measurements the 1723 has earned.![]()

Definitively not the most beautiful in the world, but I find design interesting and could see them on my list if they end up performing well. But they are big and HEAVY![]()
Regardless of what I think of the styling of that speaker (it is hideous) I have to admire the craftsmanship. Woodworking is my other hobby, and I can tell you that applying veneer like that requires extraordinary skills. Look at the fine inlay, the sunburst pattern on the sides (with no visible gaps and no filler!), and all the curves. Stop for a moment and ask yourself how you would cut those curves? Someone had to make a lot of templates and jigs and there is far more work in that speaker than is immediately apparent.
Yep, it definitely is.It is magnificent.
Very niceMaybe not the world’s most beautiful speaker, but these Revel F328BEs I think look very nice in the set up:
I wonder, do they all come packed like that, or is that just for over seas shipments?Very nice
Also didn't know that they come in flight cases
Estelons really do sound good. I never would have guessed those are that big until I stood next to them myself.
It's more for sure, video is tricky, looks close to a hundred to me.And looks to have 25-50 LPs on the rack???
It's a subjective thing you know. LOLIt's more for sure, video is tricky, looks close to a hundred to me.
Still not much though.
Just don't listen to them or take a look at the frequency responseI was paging thru this months TAS when I noticed this speaker in a full page ad.
The beautiful mirror imaging of the veneer on the front of the speaker just jumped out at me.
The wood grain paging and stain coloring just appeals directly to my taste.
Reminds me of some of the killer woodwork done by Klipsch on their Heritage line anniversary models.
