Most beautiful speakers in the world ?

Any of the speakers designed by Charles and Ray Eames. Yep, there were Eames speakers.

And they don't even need to sound very good... I want a pair!

Not mention they offered a very early form of adjustable directivity!

What you discover during the holidays.
I found a discotheque curious, which seemed almost abandoned, with coaxial speakers, and a hexagonal shape. XD
They are not from that brand, but the design is very similar.
It turns out that the discotheque, which dismantles the cabin equipment for each event, is located in the center of a complex of craft markets.

Meh,
I wish I had a picture of my dad's old stereo. It was built into a really nice sideboard.
I forget the tube amp and the turntable. Below you had space for records.
On the sides there were these large Wharfedale speakers.

(Something like this) I think ours had a pull out draw for the turntable.

I was sorry when the speaker driver disintegrated and the cone was sucked into the magnet.

I’ve often found that some of the nicest cabinetry work was found in horn designs and vintage speakers. Whether it’s classic horn speakers, refurbished, DIY horn speakers, or newly produced horn speakers by enthusiasts, I just like the warmth and material luxury that I can see on these speakers. I much prefer to the colder look of the standard black gloss or whatever loudspeaker these days. For me, nice materials can go along way to make even somewhat wonky looking designs come off as beguiling.

This is definitely one of my all time favorite designs from an aesthetic standpoint. Not so much in the SQ department.
I think it is funny they felt the need to put it on a pedestal. When you stand next to one of these beasts I am always surprised by just how tall they are.

Uhm I think that the pedestal has rollers for moving it. Just a guess.

That JBL speaker—I forgot the name—was a classic. It also was also a very long running product, made from the 1950’s through the mid-80’s.

"Paragon." John Wolff of Classic Audio Loudspeakers collects them. Well, he has more than one, and I think that would qualify as a "collection".

They look great, but I hear they don't sound very good.

I agree about the horns..
That mismatch would drive me batty.
The guy that designed them probably gave them away to a friend because he just couldn't look at them after finishing and realizing. ;)
