Most aesthetically pleasing amplifiers

The reader of the magazine was entertained.
The magazine sold a page of adds and was happy.
The brand got views and was happy.
The photographer sold a photo and was happy.
The girl showed some cleavage, got payed and was happy.

And here you are, 50 or so years later.
You could have been any taste in the universe, but you decided to be salty.;)

Nah!

I'm with @MakeMineVinyl here. We wonder why more women don't frequent these places. One of the reasons is there is a vocal minority that continue to post bullshit like that and think it is OK... and funny.

fnarr fnarr right?

The 1970's are that way ---->

There are a lot of feelings and assumptions packed in there.
Feel free to fight the great injustice, but don't drag me into it.

Id rather go back to cool amps. And would you look at this, i have one here right now.

I should say that i have lusted over a B6 a friend had, for years. I made several attempts to buy it from him, but he wouldn't have any of it.
We lost contact over the decades, but i would like to think the B6 is still with him  .

With some of the attempts at arty and ornamental amp designs on this thread, I guess it's lucky the owners have someone to dust and clean them! Some of these would take hours and likely shred your fingers! :)
Simple, functional, easy to maintain, suits me!

I got mixed feelings about the Luxman stuff that I've owned or encountered: Love the posh looks of the best designs, but mostly Lux Corp's real mastery seemed to be in making cheap materials look elite.
I think the look is nice.On the surface anyway. You can cheat with it, if you have something you want to paste on decorative plastic::)

This one appeals to me:

"The cabinet of the Climax 60 personifies Art Deco design in a classic way. A rare and highly desirable model manufactured by the Climax Radio Corporation in 1938. Climax went all out that year with the extreme of Art Deco look with this model 60, the “Emerald”, “Ruby” and “Gem”. Each of these models in their own right are beautiful and of course rare and very desirable. This radio is all original and complete."

Some of you haven't lived. This Amstrad was my first standalone amp.
And I promise this is a true story...
A friend's brother ran an electronics repair shop in the 70's.
He, the electronics guy, liked snakes, and kept a 7-foot python.
It was sometimes resting under the sofa to surprise his guests.
Other times, it was in a large warm glass cage thing.
Drinking beer around his place one day, he said "Who is scared of my snake?"
"Nah, nah it's asleep in the glass box", we all said.
So he then said, "Three inches from it's head is a regurgitated mouse, and it needs to be got rid of, but I don't dare reach in to do it. So.... I will give this amp to person who does it for me...."
It was me - thinking the python was happily having a rest. It was, and the rest is history....
I mean, let's be honest - it had "sliders"! Umm, the amp, not the snake.
