I'm working on completing my new media setup, and am hoping for some help understanding what my best option between 2 apparent choices would be. The current setup (already purchased) is the THX-365IW for L/R fronts (https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=34367), and the THX-365C center channel (https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=34189).
The 365C will sit on top of a media console as planned currently. However, I'm finishing up the drywall/framing of the center area under the TV, and have the option to go in-wall with the THX-LCR as well (I would keep the 365IW for the left/rights as I don't have space between the studs in those areas.
Is there any info out there, or anyone with experience between the LCR in-wall as a center, vs the bookshelf 365C? My primary use case in theater/movies, and a clear/strong center channel paired with the 365IWs is my main priority, but I'm not sure what difference I should expect between them? Would there be a clear winner here between those choices?
