Hello, I'm looking to buy two monoblocks.

I'm deciding between:

- Boxem A 5519/N1 monoblock with Hypex NCX500

or

- Nord Acoutics Hypex NCX500 monoblock in SE cabinet.

What do you think? Which one should I buy?

I live in Germany.

Regards,

Ed

The cheapest?

Don't forget Apollon too:

All good options, cannot go wrong with all 3. I would choose based on subjectives like chassis aesthetics, price, location, etc.

boXem audio fan here. I have a 4216/E2, Purifi 1ET6525SA, and I really like it. I also liked doing business with boXem despite the EU to USA shipment, etc.

Highly recommended.

Another vote for Apollon

I would also opt for @boXem :)

I love its rock solid audio sense implementation and his customer support.

I currently own a boxer 5519/N3 (and before owned a boxem Arthur 3409/N2).

I like Fred vision and care. The up side down module placement concept introduced with the "A" is interesting and seems efficient.

Boxem Series "A", despite the upside down module concept, was originally introduced by Fred for multi channel with a lower price range (reduced assembly time ans less "high-end" build quality) than the Arthur lineup (which is a reference for me).

As I went from an Arthur to "A" lineup, I can tell you that there is a noticeable difference in perceived built quality.
Arthur lineup as a much better build quality! (No matter the audio quality of the module inside).

Thus if price is not an issue, I would privilege Arthur models , currently based on Purifi modules.

I opted in for an 5519/N3 because I needed 3 channels. But, if I had to make the choice again today, I would go for Arthurs 4216/E2 (stereo) + 4216/E1 mono) in my case.
