Justin8888, did you ever decide on speakers?
I did make one upgrade you might consider no matter which way you go - I got an ArcX + ARC Studio DSP module. Once calibrated, with a small bit of reshaping of the sound profile by me, the whole setup now goes to '11'! Really, it brings the speakers and the music up to another level. I can't say if it's better or worse then a minidsp / dirac live set up, because I've never used one. But man, it really creates more accuracy, more separation and a better soundstage. It simply gives the music more 'life', and certain instruments really come into focus - it's like focusing a pair of binoculars that you can already see birds out of, but now you can count the feathers. I thought these speakers sounded great already, now they sound simply amazing. And, you can easily A/B it (vs no Arc) with the press of a button. That let's you easily decide if you like the original or room-corrected ARC sound for yourself. I was sceptical, so i did what I do in all such situations - I bought from Amazon, figuring if I didn't like it, I could return it within 30 days. But no, this one's a keeper.
