I am curious to try these speakers, haven't heard them and based on the soundstage review and measurements they look pretty linear to me. The measurements are from the 6g model, I have the opportunity to get the newer 7g model at a good price.

For those who have heard this speaker or who own it, can you care to comment on the sound?

FWIW the 100 6g was reviewed here.

Thanks, yes I knew about that but seeing how the silver 200 is a tower speaker and totally different model, i'm sure it would sound different than the 100.

I know this isn't apples to apples, but I have had the Silver 100 7g for the past couple of days. First off, the build quality and fit and finish is top notch, such a good looking speaker, even in the piano black.
Bass is good, not overdone, maybe even leaning more towards lean. Mid range is decent, I feel like it might be recessed just a tad in the upper mids, vocals are missing just a bit of body. Highs have a bit more energy than the Q7 Meta's I have on hand. For movies and dialogue I really like it.
I'm going to try them out for a few more days, just did an OCA Evo A1 calibration and that helps get the subs aligned so much better than the standard Audyessy correction. If you ask me right now, I'm probably going to send them back if comparing them to the KEF Q7 Metas.

How they stack up to recent speakers I've had/have.
Ascend Acoustics LX
Kef Q7 Meta
Revel M106
Kali LP6 v2 ( near field setting only)
Monitor Audio Silver 100g
JBL Studio 680
Dynaudio Emit 20
Dynaudio Emit 30
HSU CCB-8

i owned and listened to a pair of silver 300 7g for quite a while. i bought them in like 2023, and rode them into 2024 for a while before i got my revel 328 in 2024. i think i had maybe 350-400 hours of listening on them.
i think monitor audio are great speakers. they are in their cost range one of the outliers but with one caveat - they are extremely surgical. and the cabs arent that impressive. when you knock on them they got a good vibe going there. its not a dead cab. if i had a choice, and only had to budget in a specific speaker and i anticipated having parties and wanted to crank it up then id say a monitor audio isnt a bad choice. make sure you have a sub to fill in the gap. they are all very, very surgical sounding. very detailed. they get a little warmer and fuller in body as you go up the scale. but its also sorta fractional since their affordable lines actually share alot of the similar technology and speaker building qualities. they are not bad at all. the silver 300 7g was decent and im assuming the lower versions are just as good.
