It depends on the source material, Impedance curve, the distance and the room. If you use room correction, you can even add around 10dB more power to correct dips.

I'm not "saying that". These just are. Not that it would matter for the end performance, tho, but I just corrected @dan_uk who claimed "great British manufacturing" for both.

I see , many times i 'm used to have a talk with some sellers ,and they often say " you need another amp ,just because a 45w 8 Ω Yamaha amps is not so powerful to drive such speakers...

Salespeople have their own goals....you simply need an amp sufficient for your use. The speaker only draws the power you ask it to.

You will be totally fine.

Lots of people here want to have tons of power to avoid any possibility of clipping ever. But momentary clipping on high peaks is rarely audible. This is one of those engineering goals like getting noise and distortion (SINAD) orders of magnitude below audibility. Many here like to chase these goals. This is fine, but music lovers do not need to do that.

Not that great of a match (Bronze 500 would beg for more power), and certainly not British manufacturing. Both products are made in China.

@Mantra : you'll be fine with your Audiolab amp for now. If you move to a larger space at some point going forward, you could do a much larger amp at that time.
Those speaks are a very nice starter set of louds.

well i guess for a larger space I should at least a 75W at 8Ω like Marantz Model 50 (1.700€ for an amp made in Vietnam , I mean i have nothing Vietnam , but for 1.700€ I would like to have a made in Japan amp - for a made in Japan I need at least the MODEL 30 3.000€ ...that's sad)
well if i will find a second hand amp i will buy for the future

@Mantra For larger space or for more demanding speakers you can skip all sub 100W. Just go for 200W@8 nCore / Purifi (usually marketed 400W@4) and you don't have to think about it anymore. Not horribly expensive and will do its job.

Difference between 50 and 75W amps is negligible and depending on marketing and power supply the 50W may be even the better one. Power is cheap nowadays and it'll make sure your speakers work as intended.
But this is just for future reference. Enjoy your new speakers.
