MoFi Sourcepoint V10 Master Edition

Given the dilemma I experienced with the demo Blade 2 Metas I ordered I started looking around for some other options. The Spendor Classic 200 popped up on my radar as did these…very intrigued after watching Erin’s review. Tempting given how much money I’d save…

Spent a little over an hour with these today at a localish dealer. Room was bigger - 20 x 18, speakers were about 8’ apart and I was sat about the same distance back. Amplification was a 200W Luxman integrated with Qobuz streaming via a Luxman DAC.

Salesman was controlling the selections and volume, playing a bunch of demo-quality stuff to start before I made some “real world” requests. We rifled through some rock selections from the 60s-present as well as some EDM. They had the uncanny ability of being able to really let the demo quality stuff shine whilst still be able to still party with lesser quality recordings.

We listened to a pair of 2.5 way Marten speakers at around 2x the price and they had more detail on top and a smidge more in the mids but the bass, while deep, sounded like small drivers trying their hardest where the SP V10s were effortless no matter how loud you cranked them. There was something special about the much larger MoFi with bigger drivers that made me prefer them.

Bad news of the day is that they’re back ordered with no estimated ship date. I see they’re showing in-stock on some sites but I’d prefer to give my business to a local dealer and work a trade deal for my Reference 3. I still feel I owe the Blade 2 Meta a listen, I just have the feeling it will be more similar to my current speakers than what I heard from these MoFi’s.

Any reason why Erin's spinorama data for the V10's don't have EQ?

I return to this thread occasionally hoping to see glowing comments from owners of the V10s. I became a bit obsessed with them after watching Erin's enthusiastic review. Any experiences you'd like to share?

Speaking of Erin, how is he? I watched his video about his emotional health struggles several weeks ago and don't believe I've seen a video of his since.

Still waiting for mine - dealer’s saying another few weeks.
Crutchfield was showing mid-October but now there’s no date.
MoFi Distribution told me late-December.

I believe he had a promotion/job change and had been busy ?
Was excited for these as well but not much chatter after the release.

Okay, I'm declaring my new year's resolution for 2026 a bit early: I'm hoping to own a pair of these next year - preferably "used/mint."

The V10 are intriguing...For long I have been a fan of NHT 3.3's. Currently using a Sony HiRes HD music server, Okto Stereo 8 DAC, Supratek DHT pre or LTA MZ3 into Pass X250.8. My listening room is 16 ft wide by 22 ft long with 8 ft ceiling, acoustically untreated. The NHT's are deep but they go against the wall. I'm worried the V10's will be too much for my room with the 2 rear firing passives, should I go for the 888's instead? I have a custom 15" sub driven by a Hypex plate amp that can be added if necessary.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
As I am also a fan of the 3.3s, I am wondering what improvement you are expecting from the V10s? Although I haven't heard any of the MoFi speakers yet, the reviews I have read indicate a warmer sound. This is contrary to the sound of the NHTs which are quite lively in the higher frequencies
