Attached: a minimalist test of a minimalist system: Sansa Fuze -> M-Audio Microtrak I (PDF file)
Note: this test was made with just the line level input loading the Fuze. If you load it with a 15 ohm load, the nonlinear distortion goes up by about 10 dB, but for practical purposes, it is still pretty much the same. Probably sonically transparent.
