So basically just do broad low Q filters above transition frequency is what im understanding from this because it will most likely correlate to the anechoic reponse of the speaker anyway.
Based on my statement you can do very precise PEQ filters of both high and low q above room transition but they should be based anechoic data to correct the speaker and not on in room measurements.
You can do broad tonal adjustments as well and those would allow you to tailor for taste, different spl levels and/or accommodate issues with source material/content.
