They easily beat the Dt990 when eq.. I prefer the warm bass and the NOT sibilant side of the beyers.

non-swappable
I've got more problems with detachable cable due to their weight on the plug... I got the Dt770 80ohms never had a problem with their big cable end. German quality bru

To my knowledge, all non-bluetooth over ears are German made. (770, 880, 990, 1770, 1990, 700x, 900x, Amiron Home, Amiron Wireless, T1, you get the idea)

But the 240 pro is wired possible too tho I think.. But yeah German made please.

The Fiio FT3 seems interesting.
It is... listening to it now. Not without flaws but suspect no major ones.
Comfortable as well.
Cable is horrible but using 3.5mm TS connectors so easy to replace.
Impressive build quality.
The hubcap looks are a downside. Fortunately you do not see that while wearing them.

My (re)view of the FiiO FT3 is now up.

After a small, easy to do and reversible modification it has become a decent to good headphone with some desirable qualities but lacks a bit to be playing with the big boys.

If you're happy with your current Audio-Technicas, perhaps the ATH-R70x is worth a listen?

I have them here and they are pure garbage.
the ATH m50 are better quality wise and sound wise.
