Hi everyone,
I have a question for you regarding my new pair of TW4. Coming from TW2, i noticed something unusual (at least for me) on this pair. When I turn ANC ON, the simple touch of my earbuds with fingers randomly produces a disturbance/inteference (it's like when radio signal is weak) for a sec. It happens sometimes on a single earbud, sometimes on both. It has been told me by sennheiser it could be about mic sensitivity and coverage of the two holes on the surface with my fingers. Now, surely it happens also when I don't tap right on the holes and I think it's an exaggerated reaction for just using touch controls... it can happen also by adjusting for a moment the earbud in my ear or hold tight it while listening music. Sometimes I have experienced also hiccups in the audio track because of this.
The interesting thing is that the disturbance lasts for 1 or 2 sec (although 2 secs is rare), then it disappears even if I keep manipulating the earbuds. But if I stop for something like 30-40 secs and touch them again the loop begins over and over.
Is this how Adaptive ANC works? My old momentum true wireless 2 hadn't dynamic ANC so I'm wondering if it's normal before returning them (i still have some days to send them back but i have to hurry). Maybe i'm getting a bit paranoid about a technology I stil don't know, anyway this behaviour is very annoying, everytime it happens i get disappointed.
Please help me to understand
(Obviously I have done a useless factory reset and updated firmware)
