Is it the one we all asking for?
Enough inputs and outputs (expendable),Room correction,EQ,routing,decent measurements,etc?
Definitely on the watch list.

The outputs are "expandable" only if you add another compatible device like a Hapi.

Yes,I thought that should be straightforward as long as someone visits their website but is good to discriminate it.
And it's not the only extra they offer.

15 band parametric EQ also built-in

Can be separate for left and right channels if required

I wonder how things like this are not mentioned more frequently here, seems that it's not the only one.

(even if after Dr Toole's post I will think twice of using EQ carelessly from now on)

Probably because it is very expensive.

Ravenna can be a real pain to get working reliably too - it is not plug and play like a USB DAC

And maybe it doesnt measure well? Thats why I asked amir if he can measure

Maybe someone in the USA can send him one

That's debatable,it's in the price range of RME pro and if it's of the same quality and measures decently is not only fair but a real bargain for what it offers.
Yep,I would really like to see it on Amir's bench.

Don't understimate the complexity of Ravenna vs USB DAC (RME)

The last 20 pages of the Anubis thread on the popular pro audio forum, is basically all Ravenna troubleshooting

Absolutely not plug and play

And forget about playing straight from iPhone/iPad or Android to the Anubis

For the price of the Merging player you can almost buy d&d c8.

Correction: you can buy the d&d 8c and would have an extra 1500 euros to spend on a source.
