Does anyone have a wiring diagram for wiring the passive radiators to the crossovers? Do you just wire them to the same location that you wire the woofers to the crossovers at?

Sorry if it's a dumb question. Wiring is obviously not my strong suit.

Thanks

It's even easier than that. A passive radiator has no wires (or coil), it reacts to the pressure in the cabinet.
EDIT: One could say it is a wireless device.

Thanks for the answer. Just what I needed to know. Going to order the PR and weights. I guess I will drill holes in the weights until it drops down to 16ish grams

I just used some washers and nuts to find a combo that added up to the weight I wanted.

I might try that. Thanks for the tip.
A passive radiator is basically equivalent to a port. It has mass and elasticity from the air behind it and the suspension. A port has mass and elasticity. By changing the weights you're changing the frequency it wants to resonate, just like changing the size or length of the port tube.

However whereas a port tube spits out turbulent gusts of air out of a small area, a passive radiator has a nice big diaphragm and a construction not unlike a high quality woofer, so they produce a lot less noise and can play louder without getting weird.

Anything else is a compromise.
