"Cartoon-esque" never occured to me but the Brancusi homage was immediately apparent. Whatever.

Sorry. That was not my intent. To be honest, I was familiar with the Brancusi long before I (or KEF) dreamed of the Blades and it probably was why I was so receptive to them.

Bump, There's a local hifi shop that had the persona 7f on display a bit over a year then in another room the perlisten S7t. I was surprised by how sensitive the persona's were to placement and source! The persona when placed [unnaturally] in the middle of a room with nothing between them sounded AMAZING!! The speakers were later moved to a HT setup with a tv screen slightly behind centerline and between them and an upper midrange glade crept in coloring the sound. I'd tell anyone with a dedicated listening room large enough to try the persona's, but an average size or ht room wouldn't compliment the speakers. Regarding the Perlistens? I'd already read KR's review so I was likely influenced to hear what he did.
