Matrix Element X Output

I want to use a subwoofer with my Matrix Element X. Can I connect a powered sub to the RCA outputs while using the balanced outputs to connect to my speaker amp? That is, are the balanced and RCA outputs active at the same time? Thanks very much.

The only user control for device output is to switch between single-ended headphone out, balanced headphone out, and Line out:



As there are no separate options for RCA out and XLR out, it follows that all Line out ports are simultaneously On or Off.

That makes sense. Thanks. Do you have any idea whether using both sets of outputs simultaneously affects the output level?

Unlikely as you are feeding two high impedance inputs.
