Back on sale at Amazon, also, after a weird one day reversion to MSRP. The Micro Monitors are also on sale at all 3 for $200 per pair

Need an new amplifier for your subwoofer? I just scored a new ICEpower 700ASC (AS1) module for 124USD + shipping. This eBay seller (jadedesign) looks a lot like Emotiva to me...

Yes but the backorder is over 3 months on that price. I just bought a pair used and they're pretty good, but I like the Focal Elegia at $399 a lot better than these with the white filter pads. The fit and finish on both are really nice, but to be honest the HE5XX with the blue tack mod sounded better than these Aeon's do. I'm wearing my MMX300's with silver DT770 pads now and the Dan Clarke's are in a box behind me :( With the Elegia you get to look like a rich movie star too, material so nice on them.

It's the Closed X, it's a bit different to the Aeon RT, not the same headphone as the Aeon RT. Drop Aeon Closed X thread:

That is a good price though, I thought for a second about buying it, but I don't think I'm buying another headphone unless it's a top tier soundstage headphone that ticks all other boxes too. For a closed back headphone, that's probably a pretty solid buy.

Sitting here jealous of the prices in the US...

In comparison, here in Canada:
On BF, it's listed as CDN$2782/ea, and with 10% discount it goes down to CDN$2504/ea (or US$1960/ea equivalent).
Which means US sale is 13% cheaper in US than here in Canada.

Not everything is cheaper in US though, since Canadian Genelecs are better value in Canada. :p
