Woot.com (an Amazon Company) is selling the Amazon Basics 80W digital power amplifier for $70 shipped (for Prime members). Class D, it is I think rated at 75wx2 into 4 ohms and 50wx2 into 8. Two pair of switchable speaker outputs. 2 auto sensing inputs, volume and balance controls plus bass/treble on the back.

Lowest price ever I think was $95 quite a while ago. 5.5 pounds for $70. This would be quite interesting for Amir to measure.

I don't think so. The $300 price has been available sporadically for the last year or so. It is the lowest price I have seen. If you want a set new I would not wait...but who knows.

You can order the original Gold Color direct from AKG for the same price...delivery date next July.

The 80% discount was convincing enough, so I bought them. Gold color is a bit much so opted for black. If nothing else these promise to be a good ANC cans for office use direct from my phone USB for simplicity.
