Did you get them directly from drop or their warehouse website? I ordered from the latter and I hope there won't be a difference (they clame that all products are new and unopened).

$110 is working for me, wow that is an incredible price. I'm still holding off for something on the HD6XX, but the HE4XX at nearly half the price of it is so tempting.

I like the Dt1990, it has the Beyerdynamic treble thing but is superbly built (in Germany) and if you are OK with the treble or tame it the SQ is excellent. Very nicely accessorised too. While not cheap it is a quality product, it feels much nicer than the Sennheiser HD6x0 family. At $399 it's an excellent buy.

Not sure what connector you’re looking for (XLR? 1/4?) but I’d suggest checking out Dyson Audio or Blue Jeans Cable. Both do high quality cables and either have what you need in stock or can do a custom order. I’ve ordered some other stuff from Blue Jeans Cable before (not headphone cables) and they were super responsive and helpful.
