I need a one meter 4-pin XLR male to female cable and I'm having a surprisingly hard time finding one at a fair price. They are all expensive, too long, or 3-pin cables that are mislabeled. Any suggestions? (Building my own is not an option.)

In pro audio, all kinds of obscure cables are needed. The shops which sell gear also fabricate and repair cables. So you might ask at Gotham Sound, NYC, Trew Audio (several locations). Most large cities will have sound and audio rental companies with a small shop which could make it. A local electronics technician school is another option. Others may suggest sources for unusual wire, the conductors, by the foot.

The back panel of a 'Nova 150' reveals a lot of digital inputs and analog inputs and outputs:



The analog RCA 'Loop' I/O was originally marketed by Peachtree Audio as a way to incorporate a Peachtree Audio-branded, external tube buffer for owners who wanted a vacuum tube in the signal path. AFAIK, Peachtree Audio never brought a branded tube buffer to market.

The Loop I/O can be turned on or off by a dedicated 'Loop' button on the original remote control for the Nova 150.

One use for the Loop I/O could be to connect to the analog I/O of select WiiM devices - to add the option of incorporating Parametric EQ and room correction for I/O on the Nova 150.
