Master "deals" (massdrop, ebay, Amazon, etc.) Thread on Audio Product Sales

Logged out of Amazon then logged back in via incognito mode...saw the same thing as before.

Here's the "fine print"...

It was just for a day or two.

In the WiiM store for me only the standard Pro doesn’t have the 10% discount.

Guess I’m special :D

The 10% off was gone sometime yesterday for me. On the WiiM devices.

Just bought too of the ZA3's. Thanks for the heads up! In order to get the 10% discount on both I had to do two separate orders.

Amazon currently has the Yamaha R-N800A for $780 (Silver) or $855 (Black). Amazon Resale has a used one in silver for $647

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but instead of making a separate thread, I would just like to mention that it Adam Audio has increased the MSRP of their products silently within the last 2-3 days. I am so annoyed. If you want to get them for the old price, you risk heavy restock fees, like 20%.

It's not just Adam Audio. Everyone has to increase prices due to someone.

I'm certain it is due to the thing we are not supposed to talk about on this forum, but what pisses me off ultimately is that the stuff is already in the country! Retroactively raising prices on goods that are already sitting on shelves here is just greed.

I could understand if they wanted to import more stuff into the country and would need to offset the new fees, but there is not a shortage of Adam Audio products in the US. It's not like LITERALLY EVERYTHING THEY MAKE SOLD OUT and there's nothing in this country. There's no reason to increase the price of existing products on shelves.

I don't think that's how business works. Their costs have increased now, so they have to increase prices to offset those increased costs now. It doesn't matter if the specific item that's fulfilling an order happened to come in before the tariffs came into effect or not.

I'm not unsympathetic to the notion that companies would be using some publicly-known market condition as an excuse for increasing their profit margins, mind you. Plenty of examples of that from the last half decade. I just don't think that's what's going on in this particular instance.

Apparently, Best Buy is closing down many of the Magnolia Home Theater sections in their brick and mortar stores across the US.

I believe this started in late April, but some locations are still clearing out floor model inventory.

These will often include KEF, B&W, Martin Logan speakers and Denon AV receivers at highly discounted prices. Some people online were able to get R5 Metas for more than 50% off. If you were in the market and you live close to a Best Buy that has a Magnolia section, it may be worth checking out if you don't mind purchasing a demo/floor model.

I live near two stores, and the one in the more upscale part of town was not closing down, but another in a more middle class area was, but most of the stuff was already gone.

Yes, it’s true. As stated it varies from location to location. I got a kef KC/KF92 whatever the latest gen is for 800 in basically pristine condition

Best Buy has KEF Q150’s for $300 a pair (white, black or walnut). Open box deals range from $242 - $263 depending on color.
