Quick update with these that just showed up:
Topping A90 (black) $299.
Used acceptable which means the box might have stickers, but every item I get in that condition is great, but the box might need some tape to fix. I have both the A90 and discrete currently and they both sound amazing. Not of a fan of the dot matrix display on the discrete I'm listening to now, personal preference I guess.

I used one for a daily driver for a month and it was really fun.

Yea in my area seems like Kef is readily available. I bought two pairs of open box height speakers and just got two brand new ones for less than the open box price.
Also got some rear surrounds which are pretty small but honestly good enough and perfect for my tiny room, they can hang from the wall.

Just ordered two pairs of R8A to wall mount as height speakers for 2/3 the cost of a single pair of the meta version. Was originally looking at the Arendal heights, but now have an all KEF system matching the 5ea R3s. Thank you for the alert!
Really looking forward to using Auro3D upmixer. Shame to have all these speakers and be limited to two channel.
