Right now it says $215 promotional gift card off of $599 which makes it $385, was it $315 promotional gift when you posted this?
It was on sale with a promo code which is now expired:

guess that price goes to show how much mark up these AVR's undergo...
Yea I’ve seen that one dirt cheap in Tennessee, at that retail store. Forget the name it was 399 I thought it was the A4A but clearly it’s not. Not sure what that is, guess last gen unit

SMSL HO200 headphone amp in used, like new condition for $299
New ones still have the $60 clickable coupon, but $299 for the one they have for sale is a really great price. I've had that amp and wish I had kept it. They really improved over the SP200, which I had at the same time to compare side by side. Drum beat dynamics were more fun to listen to, and soundstage had depth and width.

This is the first time they've had a sale on the pair if you want the stack:
SMSL HO200 used for $299 used or $60 off coupon for new ones
Matching DO200 for $399 after $70 off coupon

AKG 371Pro for $115 used (like new condition)
I've had all three versions, get the Pro, the standard isn't as good, and the bluetooth version sounds like it's tuned for battery life instead of sound quality. Never had to or wanted to equalize the Pro version, so fun out of the box.

for reference: "When it comes to quantifying the noise level associated with jet engines, experts offer a range: 120 to 140 decibels. "

Now that Etymotic is no longer carried by Adorama, where is a good place to find them at "favorable" prices?

you mean their headphones? I bought my last pair of ER3SE's for $80 on Amazon. Was a surprisingly good price for Amazon but worth a look...
Yes, most of the Etymotic headphones had consistent "hidden" pricing at Adorama when they were carrying the brand IIRC.

I'd check Walmart which has a surprising number of their products. It's all online sales, but if you have some other discount through them or a sale is on, might be worth comparing to Amazon.
