Master "deals" (massdrop, ebay, Amazon, etc.) Thread on Audio Product Sales

*Does anyone know why I don't get notifications for replies to this thread? I'm "watching" according to the top-right button on this thread, but I get no notifications a few days after my last reply.
I think I experience the same thing. I can always go to the "watched threads" on the website and see the threads with updated posts in bold text there, but email and bell icon notifications are unreliable and seem to randomly stop working. I can usually get them to "wake up" again by visiting a watched thread with new posts via "watched threads", but they seem to randomly stop notifying again at some point. My cynical side thinks this could be by design in order to increase site engagement by encouraging users to always keep a window open with "watched threads" loaded, manually reloading the page periodically...

Drop has some nice things on sale.

Bookmark this page and visit it instead of using the notifications at the top.

Heads up....
11.11 deals start in 24 hours.

Aliexpress, Apos Audio, ShenzhenAudio, Hifigo, Amazon, Hificollege ...and probably others.

Get your wallets ready!
Without coupons, Topping EX5 can be had on Aliexpress for under US$300/-. With certain stackable coupons and discounts maybe another US$20/- less for the 11.11 sales.

Musician's Friend's "stupid deal of the day" for today is the Shure SRH1840 for $299.99.

I see it says previous version, I wasn't aware there was a newer version?

I see that Amazon US is offering 15% off for Topping EX5 and it is prime eligible for fast shipping.

Just checked on Aliexpress.
Shenzhenaudio is offering the EX5 at US$297. With stackable coupons and discounts, I could check out the item at US$263.13.
Pretty steep discount IMO if you are looking at getting one.

Just bought the D90 SE for$769 at Shenzhenaudio with free shipping.

Amazon has 27% off for HD 660s. Good deal?

SENNHEISER HD 660 S - HiRes Audiophile Open Back Headphone https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076HP574T/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_MM6GMW4F3W8FJ7WS4J7E
My viewpoint is that they look similar to HD600/650 with the similar earcups and flat pads but without the smooth frequency response of those two headphones, so I think you'd get more from an HD600/650. I'd imagine the soundstage wouldn't be that great given the similar earcups and lack of angled pads or drivers, so in my experience of HD600 I'd just go ahead and choose another headphone altogether, HD600 & HD650 prob better than HD660s though.

EDIT: looks like the HD600 is on sale too at 25% off (unless that's always it's price):

I have not owned anything more expensive than the AKG 371. No experience with any of the HD 6xx models....So maybe 600 is a good start. Thanks!

KEF Q150 are on sale for $350 on Amazon US, BestBuy, and Crutchfield.

I'm still holding out, hoping they'll dip down to $300 again during Thanksgiving or X-Mas, but it may just be my wishful thinking.
