You don't need to be an engineer to see the contradiction in the picture in that article. Going to all the trouble of putting each unit on its own isolation platform (assuming they actually provide any real isolation), and then connecting them with thick, heavy cables that couple vibration from the floor to the devices and device to device.
... assuming, of course that the devices are so poorly engineered as to exhibit audible artifacts when vibrated...

Even if there was any basis in the whole isolation table nonsense (which there isn't) you could go to any hardware store and buy the stuff to make a perfectly good one for peanuts. Charging four figure sums for such items is outrageous, but sadly typical of the micro world of tweako high end audio where USB cables and power chords sold for four figure prices are taken seriously.

Hi
If you were to try to point how useless to those I call "High End audiophiles", you will be met with a ferocious response. You may lose a dear friend. People like Ted have found a way to cater and to stroke them the right way. No prices is ever qualified indecent: $15,000 USB cable? Check!!! $50,000 speaker cable!? Re-check.... When they can't afford those wares , they lament their insufficient funds, not the snake-oil sales person... This could be a fascinating study in psychology. This is as close to religion as can be.
Mark is fighting a good war but should choose his battle fields more carefully.
