Still no AV10 or answer to messages from last week. This is a long seven days as promised. Sent at the end of July. Unbelievable. They truly do not care. Since they have my money and I have not received a replacement not sure what to do. I would like to use my home theater.
I called them today which seems to be a better option and I was told the unit will ship on Monday. My advise to others is to call. Once I do get the unit I will update.
Received the AV10 exchange unit yesterday. Started process in July. New units power button is not flush like the previous unit and remote has a ding. Evidently many new Marantz have the same issue with the power button. It’s acceptable by the standards of the day.
For future consumers lesson learned.
1. Try to buy an open box instead
Of a reconditioned unit from someone other than Marantz direct.
2. Emailing customer service is useless and takes
Weeks to get a reply. Ground mail is more efficient
3. Calling Marantz is more efficient and you can talk to a knowledgeable person.
Not a great experience for a $5600 purchase but Mission Accomplished!
