May/June 2025 sees the launch of the Marantz AV 20 and AMP 20 home theatre separates.
Full specs to be released (will update upon availability). Both units seem to approximately match the AV 10/AMP 10 but at a reduced channel count.
They will launch at $5,500 $6000 USD each.
Also named in the launch webinar are the previously rumoured AV 30 and AMP 30.

Interesting seeing ASR directly acknowledged. Claimed AV 20 SINAD of 110 dB!

I will be surprised if this product ever launches, Massimo still have not found a buyer for Sound United and since most of their products are made in Asia the Company is much less attractive now it is not economically viable to import the products in to the US.

Just out of curiosity, do you guys know if there are u rack adapters for it?

the training webinar lists the AV20 as using the Cinema 30's rack mount kit (RMK-C30(5U)) but the AMP20 has a new one (given the placeholder RMK-XXX).

side note: I hadn't realized the AMP 10/20 are Class D based, and claimed to be an in-house design*. The wording around this section is actually a little tricky and they make clear the amplifier board is their own optimization and assembly, but I wonder what the actual IC is.
I know Marantz has used a Purifi-derived design for the flagship Model 10 amplifier, and (allegedly) the Axign AX5689 for the M1 streaming amp. So they've debuted some class D implementations over the past year - but encouraging to me that they're building some of their own expertise on this too. This is what I would hope to see if the AVR units are to ever end up class D.

MacIntosh has released their latest AVR with Hypex amps. It is perfectly possible, so chances are Marantz may follow.

The power amp modules appear to be based on Marantz's implementation of the ICE Edge A400A2, though they haven't dropped in actual ICEPower modules themselves.

It would be great if D&M would finally switch to D class for their AVRs. Hopefully this was a good exercise for them to gain more experience how to implement it and definitively innovation that moves things forward.

Considering all the rumours about D&M in the past months it’s fantastic that there will be an AV20 and, even better, it will get ART (I assume the other models as well). :D

It could be that the AV20 is the first product to benefit from the learning curve from D & M's first attempt to integrate ART?
Maybe it has more DSP capability than the AV10 etc?

It's also in Dirac store - but no ART as upgrade option (hopefully to come).

Like older Storm MK1 has:

Price should be $599 for a package of full bandwidth Dirac Live and bass control plus probably $299 for ART (if pricing would be same as for Storm).
