I think thus far Onkyo is the only brand (except obviously Storm and its derivatives) that has officially confirmed ART support. Albeit that was not for AVR but the newly announced 2 channel + sub amp. But could be the first sign of spring :D.

One month with the AV10 and I'm loving it. Super improvement over the AV7706.
I'm trying to get Roon to stream with the best quality but I only get airplay 16bit... The product page says it's Roon Ready but when you go to the faq only the newer models are listed.... Did I miss something?

The AV10 is not Roon Ready, nor does it support Chromecast. Look into the RHEOS plug-in for Roon, otherwise lossy AirPlay 2 is as good as it gets.

I know you're not going to like this, but it honestly won't even matter. The 24bit will sound the same as 16bit.

Tried the RHEOS... it is only available for Wiwdows / Linux. However, just got this reply directly from Marantz today:
"Hello Jose, We hope to have the Roon ready firmware update available for the AV10 very soon. I recommend keeping an eye on your HEOS app for more information."

The Ready upgrade is coming soon..!

Well, with the new tariffs just announced, the units will become 24% more expensive... :(

Brought to you first, again, by your's truly. Cross posted on a few sites because I didn't want to miss any of my friends.

Sorry this has been taking so long. Not like I'm able to do anything about that.

The all new Marantz AV20 13-channel processor is scheduled for a hard launch next month (May). Details coming soon™

Remember, AV20 is the direct replacement for the AV8805A, fitting in between the latest flagship AV10 and the still current AV7706.

Marantz AV30, an 11 channel processor intended to replace the AV7706, is at least 3 months behind the AV20, and not currently an official product, so to speak. Yet it is definitely beyond the development stage. It's my hope that we could first get eyes on the AV30 around Cedia or in the international market shortly afterwards, but don't hold me to that.

If I'm wrong about this, you can put me on the firing line for target practice at years end.

I'll start a new thread on this when I can.

Keep a wary eye on where it is built and the associated Tariffs....

At this point I doubt Sound United have any idea what to do for long term planning, given the tariff situation is far from stable, and may change unpredictably.

One thing is certain, prices will go up substantially in the USA - making existing stock better value... (the AV20 could end up more expensive than the AV10)

Any idea if there is an Amp20 along with it?

I think to a lot of people, Marantz could do well to offer something like an AMP20 that is of the 3 to up to 7 channels at the most. Buying multichannel amps that can power 11-16 channels or more is a bit like buying certain items at Costco, you end up getting too many of the same that you might never have a need for so they just sit there, get old, and/or get outdated/expired. A fewer channel MCH power amp will not only served AVP users, but also upper mid range AVR that are more than adequate for the height, even surround channels.
