So if people are interested in a group buy at those prices i can organise one if you guys want.

Where is the manufacturer located at? I might be interested, but only if I do not have to pay ridiculous shipping costs.

Manufacturer is located in China but they would have to send the bulk shipment to me and IDK if taxes would apply on that or not.
Either way i would ship it from Sweden to you then.

One manufacturer quoted me $20 per case if i order 500
soooooo if we get together a group buy i can sell them for $25 each to cover Swedish import tax.
Would you guys be interested in at that price?
Are there ven 500 people in here? let alone 500 who bought a tone board?
Shipping from Sweden should be around $15 to the US
And round €15 to anywhere in EU

maybe you should contact the khadas team and offer them in on the deal, and use them as an agent ?

it's a niche market, and other than trying fleabay, you will be struggling to reach the appropriate consumers


however, khadas may play, because their cases are aimed at micro home theatre setups that *might* add the tone board, whereas the audiophile market are either sceptical about "cheap" excellence, or snobby about their estabished name brands, so your buyers will be a subset of khadas aware bleeding edge audiophiles - and personally i don't find the khadas case attractive - but yours certainly is

Based on the KTB dimensions, this should be a good fit. But would suggest you double check yourself from available nomenclature just to be absolutely sure.

Hi, has anyone tried this case? It looks kinda bad with the lettering imo but at $15 maybe it's a cheaper alternative to the Audiophonics case if you just want it dust protected?

my version is cheaper including the step drill bit, if you have some other tools and the chutzpah to be your own engineer

i wonder if an enclosed acrylic case might get a bit hot in use ?

UPDATE

Today I made a case in acrylic that can be cut with a laser cutter.
So if anyone has access to a laser cutter then they can just pay for the raw acrylic.
I have attached the STEP File
Don't forget to tap the holes in the top piece with M5 threads.

Better version might be coming tomorrow

if the writing is offensive, it looks symmetrical enough that you can simply turn the top piece over and it will be hidden
