Make your own Speaker wire and or cables RCA / TRS / XLR

Question to ask is who doesn`t use 22 gauge wire in there cables ?

I'd probably go with a machine made wire wrap. Gives a nice gas tight connection and the extra wraps helps the highs

Is that the problem with this post?

OT: I do find that a digitally-controlled soldering station (iron + heatgun) for under $100 is orders of magnitude more satisfying to use than all my old Wellers and Ungars crapola.;)
 
Why bother with any of this 'assemblage' when this exists?:
