I have this center speaker in my home theater for years now, and after reading the great posts on this forum, I decided to take some measurements and see the performance of this little speaker.
I used a Dayton Audio EMM-6 calibrated microphon with a Behringer U-Phoria UM2 audio interface for the measurements. I took 9 measurements in 10 degree increments in the horizontal plane and the same number of measurements in the vertical plane. I used a 4ms time gate, to eliminate room reflections and took a nearfield measurement on one of the woofers for the low frequency. Than I modelled the baffle and the driver positions in VituixCAD to compensate for the baffle step, loaded the measurements and made a spinorama. I also include the polar maps for horizontal and vertical radiation. There is the usual lobing in the horizontal plane caused by the two midwoofers distance from each other, you really have to sit within +-15 degrees. the vertical radiation looks reasonable. There is also a bump in the trebble but after my AV reciever auto calibratiton the sound is pretty good. Hope it's helpful for someone who owns this speaker, also I'm no pro in this, so there could be errors in my methode.
