Yes it is very easy to install. once you install the plugin, it shows up in Sound Source.

I gave in and bought soundsource for $40 USD after a week with macos.
At somepoint i realized why i moved to the mac and it struck me.

Why did you move to Mac?

MacOS is famously used among professionals working with audio,video and programmers but most Technology related professions benefit from windows not just because its hardware flexible. I belong to the latter that might need customization. I only optimize for productivity with some minimalism if i can.
+ elegant UI
+ consistent animations
+ most mainstream consumer applications work out of the box
+ package manger like homebrew ( i use chocolatey to install and update packages on windows)
+ backup windows machine sitting somewhere when required
+ no fan sound like ever

I was hauling a small form factor pc to work and home everyday. got tired of carrying it just for productivity and not needing a GPU as i stopped playing games a few years ago.
i have cleared out a bunch of cables and space below my desk forever.

I'll eventually use the 5900x machine as a hypervisor and virtualize windows and leave it in another room connected to my router.
windows remote desktop works like a charm with minimal latency on macos and windows alike.
