You can add an external slave power switch with a trigger (an external trigger). Audiophonics do them for €30 and I'm sure other places do too.

I just bought the Wiim Pro since I wanted wired internet.

Now that i have the Wiim what DAC should I use. Haha probably there is no audible difference although ChatGPT says I should use the Anthems DAC and connect the streamer with SP dif / Toslink optical cable

You could just hook up the WiiM and try it. The DAC isn't brilliant, but it'll probably still be fine. Experiment with digital connection to your Amp too - but remember that your comparison is not robust if you can't level match, switch quickly and do it blind.
Allow yourself to just decide which option you prefer subjectively, don't stress.

I wouldn't bother with another DAC, not yet anyway. If you wanted to go down that route it's simpler to return the WiiM Pro and get a WiiM Pro Plus instead!

Thanks again Jeremy! Well, I bought the Pro for 155 euro and I was able to buy the Plus for 230 euro. But I went for the pro because of this comment on Amirm WiiM pro Plus review thread:

So I figured, there was no audible difference between the pro and pro plus.

Anyway I will just use the MRX1120 DAC
