M - Audio 4BX BT Class

Most of these wannabe 3"/4" "monitor" speaker sets are of class "avoid" and "save your money", regardless of amplifiers used. I cannot in good faith recommend speakers with single-capacitor crossovers.

These BX4 D3s should be similar enough to your candidates:

Even if you were to set out with a measurement mic and develop some proper crossovers, the port tuning is still dubious and the tweeter does funny things around 10 kHz. Garbage. And there's actually worse out there, believe it or not.

I would recommend looking at the Edifier MR4 or a pair of Presonus Eris Studio 4, or the more expensive Kali LP-UNF (although at that point you might as well be getting a pair of decent 5" monitors, and no, not the Eris E5BT, though the regular old E5 would be a candidate).
EDIT: Edifier also makes a BT-equipped pair of speakers called the M60 which may be based on the MR4, but no reviews yet.

Thank you very much bro for the response. I just don't like these presonus because they heat up and you can't listen to music at maximum volume for a long time.

Ah, I see you have Eris E3.5s now. If listening loud is a concern, 3" class speakers (inexpensive ones at that) probably are the wrong tool for the job either way. But I see why you'd want Class D, or at least find some finned passive heatsink stock that could be stuck to the back with thermal adhesive. A majority of speakers on the very budget end use AB amps still.

I'd think that the Eris Studio 4 would be a fair bit more capable than the E3.5, it's a larger speaker with amplifiers spread across both units so a lot more heatsinking area (and there's still the DIY route with heatsink stock as described). The Edifier MR4 uses Class D amps.

What would be the largest speaker you could accommodate, and what's your listening distance?
