Massive standmounts with ATM tweeter and new generation Purifi NAA midwoofers. My guess is that these will come not cheap...

Still, they have that War of the Worlds motif going for them.

Seriously...those are nice drivers that Bruno came up with. But if that poor little thing tries to make substantial bass, the resulting cone motion will make enough phase modulation intermod that all the driver work is pointless.

Are Purifi drivers normally put so recessed?
I mean they don't seem ugly this way.
Probably to get driver z-axis alignment.

The drivers are interesting. Unfortunately more that kind of chassis you would leave the grills on. Cabinet not a real beauty too. So that matches.

Sure they are. Yet, Lyngdorf's R&D does have nothing to do with them.;)

Nope. First time I see this kind of implementation. I also like the design. Not the overall speaker design, but how Purifis fade into the baffle.

I know. Purifi. Putzeys. Buchardt used those as well on a limited version of the A500.

Well, they show a turntable and a room that has to be a sonic disaster. I don't think anyone here is the target audience.

For kicks I just looked at the specs... 83dB 1 watt. Really? I'm sorry, but for me that is a show stopper.

Maybe baffle step compensation ate the sensitivity. The bête noire of passive design.

Just checked my Google News feed this morning and saw this:

The term 'Danish Design' doesn't fit this anymore. It is at best a quote of some loosely connected elements. It came out to look unmotivated. The stand doesn't need any comment, do they? The price is over the top. The use of the drivers in particular is due to their prestige alone, especially regarding the AMT tweeter. Nice miss.

You're trying to make sense of it in logical terms. I don't think we're the target audience.
