To simplify: I would like it to have an option to enter sleep mode 5 minutes after turning off the PC, but not to enter sleep mode every 5 minutes, only when it detects that the PC has been turned off.

Sleep when no signal -> Never or more minutes, for me 15 minutes is not enough
Sleep when PC shutdown -> On
Maybe you can use the trigger to sync power cycle with the PC? Take USB out from PC, use a USB step up converter to get 12V output, connect to Luxsin using trigger cable.
Now, Luxsin will turn on and off by the trigger, when your PC is turned on and off.

Here's an article https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/12v-trigger-output-from-a-pc.67481/

It's not a big deal, I can turn it on and off with the remote control or the button on the panel.
The USB trigger doesn't work for me because it's not compatible with FastBoot or sleep mode.

Hello,

I’m just about to buy an X9, I just need to be sure that the USC-B or USB-C connection is working with an Apple Macbook pro as a source for Music streaming (Qobuz Connect) ?

I saw only this on official spécifications:

USB-B audio input

support Windows (10, 11),Android,IOS

Worked fine via USB from my Macs.

Thanks !!

A final question, is the X9 not too hot on the different sides after some hours working ( I need to put something on his top maybe)
I have to admit, it gets warmer than one would expect for something that does not have a power amplifier inside of it. I don't know if it would harm it to do so, but I don't necessarily recommend placing other gear on top of it. I no longer have it on hand, else I would take its temperature measurement after several hours of play for you.

Thanks, I was just thinking putting this on top of the X9 ( no touching anything, just with 16’ screen open and never using the keyboard)

I saw the heat mainly goes out from left and right of X9 (not like the X8)

Still a bad idea ?!?

That should be fine.

Question about Channel cross talk :
It seems that on the review by GoldenSound, / Headphone Show - measured Channel Cros-talk., and it came out as frequency dependent with up to -90db:
What I am not sure if they refer to headset mode or is that the expected characteristic on the main outputs (no clear reference to RCA / XLR )

Time stamp = 10:58 if you want just to skip.

Any idea?

Thanks

Check below screenshot for what can be adjusted on X9 for Loudness function.

I have a quick question. What is the loudness threshold relative to? Is it the boot volume? I’ve watched a few reviews and can’t find any way to set the normal listening volume, and it’s not apparent from the manual. Thanks.

The Luxsin Loudness feature is implemented based on ISO 226:2003 equal-loudness contours, calibrated at 80 phon.

Thank you for the answer but I don’t entirely understand what this means. Is 80db the upper limit where loudness is not applied, and the threshold is relative to 80db? Meaning that if we set the threshold to -30db that the maximum loudness will be applied at 50db?

The Threshold setting allows users to define the volume level at which the Loudness function becomes active.

For example, if the Threshold is set to -20 dB, the Loudness function will only engage when the volume is below -20 dB. When the volume is higher than this level, the Loudness function will not be applied.

The Bass and Treble controls allow users to fine-tune the sound character while Loudness is enabled, providing additional flexibility to adjust the listening experience to personal preference.

Merci d’avance

Hi, three questions (maybe suggestions):

The x9 (and the x8) have two usb ports labeled “audio in” can this actually be hooked up to two separate PCs and swapped between them in the source input? If you can, I just want to thank you for this. Nobody is doing this and it’s great for home office.

Can you change the name of sources on the UI? So instead of saying “optical” I can set it to say “CD” or something else. If not, consider this a suggestion that can most likely be updated.

Is the x9 coming in the black and gold color?
